07/10/2005: "Shoremen Named "National New Team of the Year" for the Central Region"

The Duluth-Superior Shoremen Semi-Pro Football Club was named the National New Team of the Year for the Central Region by Minor League Football News. The team was recognized for their success on the field, as well as their outstanding work in the community. The Shoremen participated in several community service projects, and were recognized with a Certificate of Commendation by Governor Pawlently for their Adopt-A-Highway work.
