07/11/2005: "Warriors Hold Open Try-Outs Saturday April 23, 2005"

The Minnesota Valley Warriors will be holding Open Try-Outs on Saturday April 23, 2005 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Players will meet at Saba's Sports Bar & Grill and are required to bring cleates, tennis shoes, and a $25.00 one time try-out fee which will be deducted from a players league fees. The Minnesota Valley Warriors (formerly the Shakopee Warriors) are a third year semi-pro football team in the Mid-America Football League (MFL). This is a full contact football league that features several of the highest ranked football teams in the nation. The Warriors are located in Shakopee a southwestern town adjacent to the Twin Cities metro area and represents the Minnesota Valley region of the state.

The Minnesota Valley Warriors are preparing for another exciting season in the MFL. This season promises to be another exciting and competitive year of Semi-Professional Football. Our returning veterans, along with an exciting roster of new players and coaches, have been diligently preparing for another fast paced, hard-hitting year.
