07/15/2005: ""Stars of Tomorrow" Victorious in Detroit"

Five Mid-America Football League players participated in the "Stars of Tomorrow" Bowl Game on Saturday in Detroit, Michigan. The Minor League Football News' FASCO (Free Agency Scouting Combine) All-Stars defeated the Midwest All-Stars of Detroit, 14-6. Quarterback Darryl Overton of the Northern Virginia Sharks scored both touchdowns, and the Duluth-Superior Shoremen's Kicker, Ryan Rodriguez added both extra points. Other MAFL players playing in the game were: Defensive Tackle Ray "Rhino" Rhinehart of the Central Minnesota Thunderbirds, Fullback Dave Molohan (formerly of the Minnesota Maulers), and Offensive Tackle Ryan McKone and Wide Receiver Adriane Greene of the Shoremen. Shoremen Head Coach Terry Fawcett served as the teams' special Teams Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach.
