02/18/2005: "Two Shoremen Nationally Honored!"

Duluth-Superior Shoremen running back David Corbitt and center Jon Jazdzewski were honored by Minor League Football News as National Players of the Week for their performances in the Shoremen's 35-13 playoff victory over the Minnesota Valley Warriors in Prior Lake, Minnesota on September 17th, 2005. Corbitt rushed 28 times for 142 yards and two TD's, while Jazdzewski anchored a line that dominated the line of scrimmage. Corbitt played his college football at South Carolina State University, while Jazdzewski played for the Bulldogs of Minnesota-Duluth.
