08/16/2006: "Asmundson Returns for 12th Season!!"

Superior Stampede OL/FB Garnet Asmundson will return for his 12th season to the Mid- America Football League. Asmundson is one of two original members still in the league since its inception in 1995. The 6-1 335 lb. Winnipeg native is an 8-time MFL All-Star, 2-time All-American, and 2-time MFL Champion. He also played five years of professional football in the PIFL and the IFL. He is a member of the Mayville State Athletic Hall of Fame for football.
