07/25/2006: "Stampede & Thunderhawks (GPFL) to "Battle for the Badger""

The Superior Stampede (MFL) and the Northern Wisconsin Thunderhawks (GPFL) have agreed to play for northern Wisconsin bragging rights in a game billed as "The Battle for the Badger"! The winner will get to possess the hand-carved wood badger as their traveling trophy until the teams meet again. The hope and intent is that these two teams will play annually for many years to come!
